Funny thing: when I stop writing posts in this blog because of lack of time or maybe laziness or maybe lack of things to write about, someone I meet tells he or she likes my blog. Should do it more often I guess cuz people sometimes read it.

Btw I went mountain skiing today after 2 years break. My god, how hard it has been! But how great the feeling was - to ride the mountain on a high speed... I totally forgot how it feels.

My country

I wanted to do it even before 4th of December, but now I even have more feelings about the things happening in my country.
I have a huge growing feeling of anxiety since yesterday I think. Anxiety about the political meeting that is going to take place in Moscow tomorrow, 10th of December 2011. I am very worried for all the people that are going to be there (and it is already 22000) and for the results of it. I absolutely disagree with the elections falsification as thousands of Russians, but I am so afraid there is much more behind this meeting than just disagreement. Most of people are going there to require re-elections, but I bet they do not expect provocateurs and let's call them "bad guys" to use this massive gathering pursuing their own political goals.
The whole country is so vulnerable at this moment. People do not believe the government or the president anymore. They are ready to believe anyone but them. Meaning any group of smart people who have at least some brains and political ideas can use it now. And I am afraid of what it is going to be like.
With all my hope for a better future I wish a day without any victims tomorrow. May God always be there with every single person who came.

Host families in Indonesia

Host families in Indonesia is something very different from Russia.
First of all, EVERYBODY wants to host you. I got so many offers to stay in the houses of my colleagues, their friends etc.
Second, people want to treat you. Hospitality level is very high here. That's why AIESEC UNDIP doesnt have problems with finding host families for their trainees. GCP :)

As for my host family, they gave me my own room with AC, PC with Internet access, bed and closet. Oh yeah, and TV :) Everybody is watching TV here. We have it in every room. Oh yes, they also give me a motorbike quite often, so I drive in semarang. Isn't it great? Plus they take me out at night for dinner, or go with me for sightseeing. Love it. I am very lucky.

My Birthday

Ok, last birthday I spent in Germany. This year I celebrated it in Indonesia. Wondering what the next year is going to bring :)

How it all went here. I woke up at 00:00 of 14 October because some of my Indonesian friends decided to make me a surprise and came to my house with a cake and candles. So they woke me up, asked to make a wish and blow the candles. It was very surprising, memorable and sweet.

Also, my hosting family prepared a nice cake, a rose and a gift. So my breakfast was containing a tea with a birthday cake! I have never celebrated a birthday sooo early :)
And finally, in the evening we went to have a lamb sate in the restaurant. Was fun!

Plus all these wishes from all over the world, calls from my parents and friends - hearing their voices was really touching.

Just had a very powerful conversation with my Indonesian boss, mentor and hosting mom (all are 1 person) about leaders and followers in business, start ups and community needs. Feel so inspired and confident about the way I have chosen. Support of my ideas from a person like her really means a lot.

Had a big adaptation period starting from Friday till Monday evening. First I had no voice, so I only could whisper. After I got my voice back I had a food poisoning, so didn't eat anything for 1 day. Good news is I lost 2 kilos.

And finally, yesterday my body was persistently asking for fresh vegetables and milk. I had to listen to it due to full control it takes on me usually, and bought it in the shop. Yes, the funniest thing - here in Indonesia they don't really eat fresh vegetables, just fried, no salads with tomato or cucumber! Plus only powder milk at home.

Indonesia first impressions

I arrived to Indonesia recently and it is so much different from Russia or some European countries! That's what I call cultural differences. Some of them are typical for Semarang city only.
Bathrooms. They only have cold water here. Mostly no showers, just small baths to keep there water and then pour it in yourself with ladle. WC is in the same room as well.
Motorbikes. Most of people drive motorbikes here. You basically can do it since you're 10, but the drivers license available from 17. I am thinking to start driving it here as well - it is cheaper than public transport, you don't need to ask people to peak you up or give you a ride all the time and it's very fast.
My school. All teachers are friendly. Today was a first working day, so the teacher I am working with created a song for me and students in the class were singing it. So sweet.
Houses. People do not live in flats and apartments as this is much more expensive than having your own house or renting it. Students can rent very nice dorms for $50 per year.
Prices. Everything is way much cheaper than in Russia. In Starbucks twice so I am planning to go there quite often as I don't go there in Russia at all due to the exclusive expensiveness. Moreover - it is cheaper and it is healthier to eat in here - everything grows at the island, fish is nearby in the sea. And the fruits - oh the fruits are fantastic.

Notes from 17.03.2011

One more time I could get a confirmation for the fact that international conferences change your mindset for whole life.

I just came back from international congress in United Kingdom – WENA LDS, and from my trip in London for 3 days. To say that it was fantastic is to say nothing. It was something much bigger.

It all started very spontaneously (and was like that till the end of the trip). In the last few hours before DDL I decided to apply as faci and agenda manager for this conference. Don’t know what was guiding me at that moment- probably destiny. My visa was ready on 7th of March afternoon. Pre-meeting was supposed to start on 8th morning. I almost gave up when I received a message from embassy that I can collect my passport.

Again spontaneous moment. Tickets for the morning, long way to the venue – and I am there. I was super happy. And this mood was lasting throughout the whole conference.
Highlights of WENA LDS:

- Faci team. We were 7 facis for 230 delegates (3 more supposed to come but they didn’t). It was a very hard experience especially with the fact that agenda was changed 1 day before conference, and in each home group were 30 delegates. And probably exactly because of that we rapidly started to form as a team. Every single person in our team was unique and I don’t know how Marina was doing selection but she did it the very right way – the way when everyone could feel we are not just a group of people but a team. I had again a special feeling of spontaneousity – I was going to the conference to work for 6 days with people who I barely know or don’t know at all, and I was very afraid to meet at least one person with a negative attitude or a bitchy character – none of us was like that. Another point is that I was very curious about these people and all my expectations were exceeded. Just simply love them.

- Chair. Vlad was chairing my 1st international conference 2 years ago in Turkey, but I have never worked with him before so closely [SMASH]. For sure he is a great chair and was very cool at plenaries and so on. But what was more valuable is our bonding. Vlad became a person at this conference who you can always rely on, hug him when you need a kinesthetic charge, or just smile – because there will always be response from his side. Loved the smile of this guy.

- Delegates. They were so energetic, so open for everything – I seldom can see such an audience at AIESEC conference. At first morning plenary before starting when the roll calls were playing – EVERY person was dancing. Can you imagine 200 people dancing same roll call in the plenary? That was very moving.

- Home group. It was my first experience of work with the home groups. I can’t analyze how good or bad it was but their sugar cubes after the conference made me cry. And we had an amazing shout: Oooooooh! Red and ready, read and ready, read and ready; everything we do – we do it RED! (Girls): RED! (Boys):RED! (Girls): RED! (Boys):RED! (Girls): RED! (Boys):RED! (Girls): RED! (Boys):RED!
Another important part of the HG was Vivi – a CC responsible for REDs. Without this girl I can’t even imagine how would it be. Probably not that funny and entertaining. She studies drama theater in uni, and her energizers were oh my god how amazing.

- Conference itself. We had a joke between faci team that PAI 2015 will tell this conference was a turning point for him. I bet it will come true. So much effort and energy into this event can only grow up best leaders for AIESEC and society. I was not crying in the end. But I had a constant feeling all the day that I am loosing something very big and important in my life, and some people I might will not see anymore. I have a lot of learnings from WENA LDS 2011. I got so much inspired to go international next year. I grew professionally and personally. I hope it was a very important part of lifes of the people who were there. For me it was and will be.

Highlights of my London trip

- Being spontaneous. I forgot to mention in the beginning that I bought tickets for 3 days later after the conference in order to have a chance to see London – one of my dream cities. And it was spontaneous again. I didn’t know where I am gonna live, who I am going to do sightseeing with (I definitely didn’t want to do it alone). At one of the last parties I randomly told about it to Steve Sparrow and he proposed to stay at his place [SMASH] with part of the new MC team. Of course I agreed =) At the same party I managed to convince my good old friend Matt Pitt to come to London to show me the city. This is what power of my networking and sometimes bla-bla skills can do.

- Positive attitude. Your trip will never be fantastic if you’re just spontaneous – you need to have a very nice mood and attitude towards all the things. It helps so much! I couldn’t wait to get to London after the conference, expecting something absolutely amazing. And it was amazing in the end.

DAY1. Arrival and dinner. I arrived to London in the afternoon so decided not to build plans for that day and have some rest. In the evening me and two MC 11-12 boys Nakul and Daniel went to buy food for dinner and that was such a nice time! Shopping was fun, we made the most delicious pasta with chili in the world (Dan was chairing the process) and had a family evening with this yummy pasta and red wine. I definitely loved the 1st day.

DAY2. This one was the best. Matt arrived to London and we were doing sightseeing all the day. Crazy pictures, study tour delegates and CCs met next to London eye (who said London is big?), gelato, squirrels in the park, posh Oxford street – these things worth to be done in London!
Afterwards was the second best thing of the day – Traffic Light Party. It was organized by LC AIESEC City (in London) where Dan was an LCP in one of the London clubs. The idea is that you have to wear only one of 3 colours: RED (if you have a boy/girlfriend), GREEN (if you are free), or YELLOW (if it’ complicated). I was wearing red by the way.
We came first and left last. And were drinking all this time =). Boat racing, crazy pictures, dancing and loooots of fun! One of the best parties ever. In the morning the funniest was to check the receipts from the party in order to remember things we were doing – 10 tequilas ? Who remembers that? =) After this party I fell so much in love with new MC team of AIESEC UK! Just with each of these 5 crazies. There is an expression that if you touch a person you leave your footprint in his life. I feel the same with them – like as we left footprints in each others lives. Really want to meet them again. So happy for AIESEC UK in the next year – with such a team it will be success!

DAY3. I went to do shopping in the mall everyone was recommending me last party – Westfield. Yay, it was a huge one! There is nothing special in shopping indeed but I got so many new clothes.

Right time to write

Haven't visited my blog for a long time. May be due to lack of things to write about, or just simply my lazyness :)
May be now it is the right time to post.

I feel very inspired and deep these days. It started from National Congress and continues more and more with every single day. For sure partly it is because Christmas and New Year are coming - and they are the best holidays in a year.
But most probably the reason is a very important decision of mine - to apply for a President of AIESEC in Russia for the next term.

And with every next step following this decision I feel it was absolutely right. I got the support of very different people who just told me I am the one who they believe in and would follow. Filling in the application, creating my vision of the organization for the next year I don't experience any troubles or any desert in my mind - it comes out itself. And exactly these two facts make me feel very right.

I have a dual feeling though. From one side I only accept me as a person to lead the country next year, and a lot of things happening around and people around make me feel confident. From another side there are 6 people applying. And there is a possibility to have another person elected. And it will mean this person is the right one for AIESEC Russia.

Anyway I will do my best during the process just make everyone including myself sure I deserve to be a leader of that country to LEAD the excellence as ONE AIESEC Russia.

BRIGHT MOMENTS OF INDIA

Hyderabad
- Fish SPA. Put your feet into the pool with small fishes and then they start eating it. Quite unusual and weird – but after such procedure the feet become like a baby ones, fishes eat all the unwanted details
- Room of FEAR in the mall next to our hotel. The most scary room ever! First you enter it and see some standard tricks such as trembling skeleton, sounds, pitch-black darkness, dangling web. But after it horrible people in prisons are appearing, and then they are coming out and start runn over you! You get such a huge horror that you are even afraid to look around, and with each new corner and turn the new people are waiting. Felt like in a worst horror movie/ But it was cool.
- Motobikes. We were too late eating pizza, and to get to the host we got the help of local aiesecers on theor bikes. Taking into account crazy Indian roads it was unforgettable! Wind in face, speed, night Hyderabad. I loved it a lot

Varanasi
- 1,5 hour talk with one of the sellers in the Varanasi street. His family owns the silk factory, everyone works on it. We were just sitting in his tent, talking about life and other things, no bargaining, got to know his sons, such moments are so valuable to be lived through!
- Gang river boat trip and all these Indians who were swimming there, drinking this water, washing clothes in a special way. This water contains over 1000 bakteria; there are lots of deads and their bones and ashes, dead animals etc – and people swim and drink… In the city we met a lot of freaks and ugly people – mostly probable that this is because of water. Holly river indeed.
- Chowk bazaar. We just had some free time to wander around the city and decided to go there. First of all – it is so crowded, even compared with Hyderabad market. Second thing I realized there is that I was starting to love the country I have been to. Just simply felt the culture and all the specialties, and the fact that Indians (almost all) believe in karma and they hardly can steal something from you because it’s a sin.

Mumbai
- Café Coffee Day. It is everywhere, it is cheap, it is tasty and has a good service. After Varanasi it was a fresh breath for us to be there;
- Colaba. The part of the city. Generally Mumbai is huge, this is just a small part of it and is some kind of downtown. CST train station, market streets, hotels and administrative buildings – everything looks nice.
- Taxis, cabs, tuk-tuks. No one tried to cheat us. What was actually wonderful. If the trip is 11 Rs then its 11. If it’s a cab then you see the counter of traffic. No bargaining here. Just take a cab and enjoy

Free minute to write

This month is totally crazy in a good meaning. I have just arrived from Ufa, where the National Conference SumMeet took place. We had 150 delegates, 40 of them were internationals. We had international OC team, international faci team and international delegates. And it was cool. Of course, full of challenges as ususal. But our whole MC team felt like we became a TEAM. It was an amazing feeling. It is :)

And actually we are learning how to be "fluffy". It means to think philosophically on the things we are doing - which is very important in AIESEC. Everyone mentioned that we were very deep. Goal acieved. And I am one more step closer to one of my personal goals for the term fulfillment: learn to give deep, inspirational speeches. Yay!

In 1 week we will leave for IC in India - and this congress is promising to be legendary. 2015 vision, strategies.. But the best thing I cant wait for is to meet my friends from other countries. I miss them soooo much! And of course to meet new people and people who I only talked on line :)

And one goood thing I notice - I grow a lot in MC. In terms of personal and professional part. And this is awesome.

Aaand one more - I am single now :) After almost 1,5 year of relationship. Strange feelings :)

Up in the air

My brother told me few days ago to watch a movie "Up in the air". I didn't have this chance. But definitely I will. Because my today life seems like in this movie - travelling, taking planes, trains, buses. Going somewhere, then going back or going somewhere else.

Sometimes I enjoy it cuz when I go somewhere it means I will meet new people, old friends, have new emotions and events. On the other hand such kind of unstable life doesn't give any feeling of sustainability. It seems like I am loosing something very important every time I go to another city...

In 10th grade I have written a composition on travelling. I got double A - first for grammatic and 2nd for creativity (this mark was always given to me by my teacher due to my passion to compositions and articles creation). This short composition really motivates me a lot even in 7 years. It was about my love of travelling and going somewhere.

Anyway, i's going to become better and calmer in july after my paper defendance.

One of the best days

I've got some special mood today. Feel fucking good. Don't even know why. But it definetely makes me happy.

And I enjoy the networking. Had a lot of meetings with countries in these 2 days and I love it! Of course it was all on-line but though. I will meet these people at IC for sure.

And I miss people and countries. Especially its Turkey and Taiwan. Wanna go there again and meet all these wonderful people.

My soul mate and just a great man, ausie ausi ausie – all his kinky jokes, our laugh and dances together, love such kind of people when you both are on the same wave.

Kate (Russia)

Zhirnulya. When I first saw this girl on national Conference in Russia, I had thought – what an annoying person! I could not stand her, but in few months we had really good talks together and found out that we have a lot of things in common. This conference made us friends and I love her very much. Crazy, talented, strong and beautiful Kate is just amazing. We were stars together =)

Anakin (Hong Kong)

Stylish boy from one of my dream countries. Very handsome and nice, reminds me my 17-year old brother. We spent a really cool time together, mostly at Post tour: bicycling at the ocean coast, getting soaked at the beach, watching the night moonlight in mountains, eating fried meat, dancing and sharing – amazing time it has been and I will never forget this person. His farewell words were: “Next time we see each other – maybe in few years – I will be more handsome” =) Sweetie)

Hiro (Japan)

He gets angry when someone tells he’s “childish”. though he is. And it makes this 20-year old LCPe special. He has some character movements and jests, interesting sounds and he is short. And this is what I like about him! Just the one who I will remember for his uniqueness.

Masaru (Japan/Indonesia)

Asian people, especially boys has some face traits that make them look very handsome and positive. Masaru is one of those kind of people. Looking at him I become full of good emotions and full of happiness. Talking to him worth even more. Sunny guy.

Jenillie (Indonesia)

This girl inspires me. Talking to Jennillie makes me think about things I have never thought before. Everything she tells motivates and causes some hidden emotions – and this is her best advantage. I’m happy that she will be in AI in next term because I would love to work with her more.

Roger (Taiwan)

A man who spreads his fantastic energy and power on all people around. When I first saw him I thought – what an active and strong guy, and only later I found out that he is MCPe. I was really glad to know it because he belongs to such kind of people who attract all others – they have some fluids lightening on people – and this is what makes me interested in getting to know him better.

Chris (USA)

Actually he is 100% Irish. His parents are from Ireland but they live in US. I have no idea why we became friends, but it is I suppose because of being soul mates again. I like his smile and his Irish manners, and we had a good time in night club dancing all night long.

Mya (Indonesia)
Charming, perfect, beautiful girl who will work with one of my friends next term in Czech. Love her luxury and positivity (which is actually a main trait of all Indonesian MCc I think).

Pedro (Brazil/Australia)

I didn’t talk to him too much but the kindness of this man is felt everywhere. Some kind of “how MCP should look like” for me somehow. Brave and very tough guy.

Забавно тут. Заболело горло опять из-за кондиционера. Оказалось, что Россия во многом намного профессиональнее AP стран. Кооперации - прекрасная вещь! Главное все сделать как надо - и тогда будут замечательные результаты.

Фаси команда - это просто нечто, никогда такого не встречала - они все такие всегда рядом, слушают сессии друг друга, общаются с нами как будто это старые друзья, шутят и делятся. Аман с его знаменитой пластичностью и любовью к айсек дэнсам, Дэвид - красивый, статный, умный, Дженниль - солнышко всегда, хорошая такая, Масура - милаха, азиат на все сто, Боуи - слвающийся с делегатами, Фредди - очень крейзи по России, Ромильдо - большой, бразильский такой мужчина и все-все-все остальные.

Аха моментов много случилось. И еще будут.

Daymakers на сегодня и вчера - MCPe Taiwan Роджер - супер мальчик, MCVPICXe Czech Rep Mya - soulmate, MCPe Australia - Pedro - просто тянет к его профессионализму и отличию от австралийского менталитета, Марина Чекмышева - здесь, в Тайвани, кто бы мог подумать, а ведь когда-то моя фаси еще в России, и когда то милая уфимская девушка, а сейчас вся очень интрнешнл, но все равно своя. Радуюсь.

Появились какие-то новые устремления в AIESEC на следующий год. Как говорит Катя - это все conferences, и это правда. Я не думала о многих перспективах до этого. А сейчас опять - почему бы и нет? Да. Все продумать, прописать, взвесить - время на это пока есть.

Тайвань

Сижу в лобби. Мимо пробегают кучки иностранцев и айсекеров. Подходят, улыбаются, машут, спрашивают. Они прекрасны. И я внезапно поняла, что мне комфортно как никогда. Это то, что люблю больше всего - международность. Азия просто невероятна. Влюбилась в азиатов. Есть в них что-то совершенно необыкновенное, то, чего нет у европейцев. И это очень манит. Еще они все добрые и милые.

AHA moments за сегодня:
- ты не всегда должен брать от айсека, но и иногда отдавать. На симпозиуме было много старшеклассников со всей Тайвани, они совсем не знают что такое айсек, и многие делегаты-айсекеры ушли, потому что с ними скучно. А если посмотреть с другой стороны, их ведь столькому можно научить! Моя home group была такая хорошая, столько классных шуг, пожеланий - мы просто обязаны иногда вкладываться в подростков, потому что они - наше будущее.

- азиатские компании шикарны. директора - настоящие мудрецы, role models, они понимают, что такое SCR и применяют это на практике, они видят в нас будущее, они разговаривают на английском языке и для них нет границ. Почему-то это закостенелое восприятие Европы как всемирного святилища все еще в нашем разуме, но взглянув на новые горизонты понимаешь, как узко было твое мышление. Азия - это просто ориентир для бизнеса. Подумываю развиваться именно в этом направлении после срока в MC. Потому что перспективно.

Я по-настоящему люблю Азию и этих людей.

Прошел первый день симпозиума. Послезавтра конференция. Сессии, кооперации, люди. Много людей.
Влюбилась заново в международность! Вот у меня уже столько всего произошло!
В-первых, про культурный шок: еда ужас) ооочень со специями и всегда с рисом! И все палочками. Фаст фуд кажется порой лучше. Но можно найти номальную пищу плюс и недорого тут она
Во-вторых, про страны. Уже in love с Австралией, Тайванью, Индией, Кореей, Японией. Азиаты классные. Тут еще много людей. Подробности про каждую страну и отдельных личностей позже. Но Австралия - это просто лучшие) Кореши наши. Водку любят и больше нас пьют похоже хах)
В-третьих про отель. Он шикарен. Он лучший в городе, тут много этажей и замечательные номера.

Все, спать, тут уже три ночи. А вставать через четыре часа. AP

- Plan it в Уфе: Женя, MC команда, Манана на Get to know, глядя на которую я поняла, что хочу в MC – уже тогда;

- Саратов: неожиданное решение поехать, 4 дня с ним, чувства

- RTTT в Челнах: Наилюша, которую очень полюбила, Рус, самый домашний и добрый ЛК

- Стамбул и Anatolia Congress: драйв от международной атмосферы, я и Бисярина, прогулка к морю с чехами, GV с бельгийцами, кальян с немцами, тусы с болгарами, кино с тунисцами, хостел с итальянцами, ночные гулянки с сербами, кафе со всеми сразу аж места не хватает, Надя – такая своя уже там, Умут – soulmate, самое милое существо на свете, Камилька

Belief, inspiration & my diploma

It's so motivating when people believe in you!

I thought my science curator hates me for doing almost nothing with diploma during these 1,5 years of master program. But last time she told me she has no doubts that I will do my job on a highest level and it made me a little bit more calm and sure in my abilities.

Now I have a plan and structure, a lot of theoretial analysises and some articles in other chapters of my diploma. Ready to act and very happy for it.

Distances and friends

Having friends all over the world is such a good thing. You can call them anytime, you can meet somewhere in the new country, you can find out how's the weather in another country.

But it also has so many disadvantages which you cannot actually manage, and the essential is that you cannot see them often - not even often but at least once a year.

O, God, how I miss my lovely friends from different countries! My soulmates and just awesome people. It's such kind of feeling when you can only think about the person or talk on-line but with no personal meetings..

Special people will always stay special no matter if you see them every day or once a year.

Exchange is change

It's so ridiculous that sometimes working in AIESEC we forget about impact we make. We can be concentrated on our personal and professional development, on networking in different areas, but there's one such an important thing as life-changing experience which we provide.

This is we who makes exchange happen. And its a miracle, really. I, personally, have made a lot of exchanges and all these exchanges realized changed people. I follow their blogs, read their statuses and thoughts in facebook, receive letters and messages from them, sometimes hear from other people about them - and its an amazing thing to understand doing all these things that exchange in the life of these people was an incredible and unforgetable experience because they remember about it for years. And the thing they appreciate most is challenge and cross-cultural communication. This is what we like in travelling, this is what AIESEC can do for sure.

We do more than exchange, we are real knights of change. This is about all the exchangers around the world :)

Прочитала пост Румянского, когда выбрали его. Думала, надо тоже сказать спасибо определенным людям. Когда начала считать их, этих людей, поняла, что их слишком много. Поддерживали, любили, мотивировали, помогали, не давали расслабиться, доверили и куча всего еще. Так что - спасибо всем, кому было не все равно :)

Скоро в Питер...
Люблю этот город. Он как-то вдохновляет. До сих пор в памяти его улочки, дома, погода - каким видела его в первый раз. Соскучилась. Хочется просто гулять по нему с утра до вечера с любимыми людьми - сразу все станет хорошо-хорошо.

Об учебе, стратегическом маркетинге и цитатах

Всегда неоднозначно относилась к учебе в универе, да и к учебе вообще. Что-то делаешь, потому что надо, а что-то наоборот - потому что нравится и хочется. Хотя, второе реже.

Сегодня, наконец, поняла, какая сфера экономики зажигает мои глаза. Не экономика природользования, которая была темой моей бакалаврской работы, не логистика, которая является темой моей магистрской диссертации. Мне нравятся, оказывается три вещи:

маркетинг
планирование
стратегии (с айсеком пришло)

И все они с успехом сочетаются в одной замечательной дисциплине "Стратегический маркетинг". Здесь и разработка стратегий, и планирование, и проведение анализа и маркетинговых исследований, и Balanced Scorecard. Вот уж не думала, что существует предмет, который будет мне нравиться. Ан есть, оказывается, такой.

Иии, как ни странно, все вышесказанное было вступлением :)

Ведет эту замечательную дисциплину у нас одна замечательная преподавательница, которая заставляет слушать внимательно и делать записи ее мыслей на отдельных листках помимо лекций, потому что они интересны, дают пищу для размышлений и множество идей для настоящего и будущего.

Она говорит совершенно очевидные вещи, которые многие просто игнорируют при работе. И еще постоянно приводит интересные цитаты. А я сижу и строчу все это :)

My future

Сижу готовлюсь к OPS. Приятно, когда есть люди в команде, у которых глаза горят так же, как у тебя.

У каждого человека есть этапы в жизни, когда он меняется очень сильно - меняются его приоритеты, взгляды, направления развития. Как раз про меня сейчас. Во многом, потому что нужно определяться с тем, чем я хочу заниматься дальше. AIESEC не отпускает. Но есть еще родители, которые видят мир иначе чем я. Говорили сегодня долго о моем будущем. О том, как мое настоящее способствует ему, насколько мои планы трезвы. Слушаю их всегда, потому что мудрость жизненная - она только у этих людей имеется. Планы на будущее изменились после этого разговора. Перевернули мой мир с ног на голову. Страшно. Но кто-то сказал из великих - "Если от твоих целей у тебя не кружится голова, значит они недостаточно амбициозны". Буду достигать, значит.
Когда появлются какие-то тупые сомнения, сразу всплывает вопрос - WHY NOT?

До слез. Как мне было тяжело, Боже мой! Это был настоящий hard work.
Еще неделю назад, признаться честно, я мечтала, чтобы мой проект скорее завершился. Но сейчас вдруг не хочу, чтобы он кончался! Не хочу, чтобы стажеры уезжали, а они уезжают каждую неделю!
Еще 10 дней и ВСЕ. Это стоило всех, всех эмоций, чувств, сил, нервов, срывов, слез и энергии, которые я в него вложила!
8 октября будет церемония закрытия. ТАКОЙ проект надо закрыть с честью и громко.
Люблю. Не жалею ни об одной минуте. За эти полтора месяца мы пережили все - и форминг, и шторминг, и норминг, и перформинг! У нас были свои конфликты на профессиональной, на персональной почве. были обиды и неудачи. Но сколько же было радостных моментов! Сколько счастья в глазах от совместной работы, успешно проведенных занятий в школах, собраний...
Вчера была на базе, где прошел первый тренинг проекта. Растрогалась. А потом все мои стажеры негласно сказали мне спасибо во время одной из сессий...
Незабываемый опыт. Еще немного - но я не волнуюсь, потому что это перформинг, гайз. Мы молодцы.

Можно даже сказать, что я почти счастлива. Почти. Буду окончательно счастлива недели через две, когда все это (кроме учебы) с успехом завершится.

Потом, правда, опять начнется, но будет намного легче. Ура.

You had so many bad things in life but there was a little sunlight next to you all the time and it helped you to get by. But when even this sunlight is closed by heavy clouds you have nothing good to think about. And you give up, being unable to manage all the processes.

Why wifes of successful businessmen don't work? Because their husbands need someone at home, someone who will always stay calm, who would take care of them and keep the house's hearth on fire. They need a friendly family without any quarrels because it makes them stronger, gives them a meaning in life and they can be sure they have a safe back.

Thoughts after hard working weekend

There're two special human's conditions, first is when you're drunk and the second is when you're dead tired. If you have one of them then you're lucky :) Of course I'm joking. But the main characteristic is your ability to feel - you are ready to do unusual things which you'd never do in a normal situation and afterwards (in the morning or when you had slept enough) you often feel shame. But the matter is that in this case you don't feel some barriers, they're gone and you give a freedom to your emotions and thoughts you have always had and was afraid of.

I can't decide if I like it or not but emotions is a good thing for sure :)

P.S. By the way at the moment I am exhausted (usual condition for last 2 weeks).

Случай в уфимском гетто

Замечательная вещь случилась со мной сегодня.
Есть у нас в прекрасном-распрекрасном городе Уфа отдаленный район, под названием Черниковка.
Уфимское гетто, как оно есть. Разве что негров над горящими бочками нет (да и те, похоже, скоро появятся). Помимо очень хороших людей проживающих там, по определенным причинам в этом районе концентрируется куча очень нехороших людей. Концентрация, как правило, выше, чем где либо еще.

Бываю я там самое частое раз в два месяца, и то по какой-то случайности - человек,живущий в центре, просто так "погулять" туда не поедет. Вот и сегодня выпал случай.

Мы с руководящим советом едем на национальную конференцию AIESEC в Калиниград в августе. Дабы подчеркнуть нашу индивидуальность и единый командный дух, решили сшить всем белые жилеты. Сегодня был час икс снятия мерок у швеи. Живет она, как уже ясно, в Черниковке.

Я люблю ездить по городу, правда. Но когда среди бела дня видишь такое, начинает подташнивать от определенных мест и сразу кажется, что все стереотипы - правда.

Приезжаю я, значит, к этой швее. Захожу в подъезд, а там крики, ор, жуткие завывания. Я трусиха та еще. Решила постоять на улице, пока все угомонится. Тут меня заприметила швея, идущая откуда-то из магазина с пучком зеленого лука в руках. Поднимаемся мы с ней на третий этаж и видим ужасающую картину. Я человек, который верит в светлое будущее и очень часто забывает снять розовые очки. Однако правду жизни даже за ними не скроешь порой. Валяется на пролете без сознания мужик. Рядом второй, от которого перегаром разит за километр, пинает его и орет, чтобы вставал. Пролетом ниже открыта квартира, из нее выглядывает взъерошенная бабка и дребезжит как будильник, чтобы тот вызвал скорую и прекратил пинать. Еще пролетом ниже валяются шприцы и пустые пакетики от наркоты. Картина не менялась минут 15, пока второй мужик не начал приходить в себя. Я пряталась за большую швею и, честно, дрожала. Мы вышли на улицу. Через пять минут выволокли бессознательного мужика. Еще минут через 10 приехала скорая. Я этого уже не видела. Говорят, тот пришел в чувство.

Страшно жить, ребят... Страшно.

Настроение у меня хорошее. Что не редкость после Plan it. Я стала заряжаться общением с людьми. Сегодня сообщили, что мой проект выиграл республиканский государственный конкурс на грант. Ну разве я не молодец? Подали заявку на национальный грант – писали два дня и две ночи. Надеюсь, что-то перепадет нам.

  Еще моя любимая подружка выходит замуж! Как же я рада! Буду свидетельницей на свадьбе. 27 июня – красная дата в календаре.

  Вчера ходила на показ авторского короткометражного кино знакомых мальчиков-фотографов. «Под маской сна». Вообще впервые была на этом мероприятии, было любопытно и на публику поглядеть, и фильм необычный увидеть. По поводу кто эти мальчики – совершенно случайно найденные фотографы на фотосессию айсек для альбома про годовой отчет, снимали нас потом на самом мероприятии по отчету и вот пригласили меня на закрытый показ. Чувствовала себя очень VIP =) Вообще такие мероприятия очень развивают. Напомнило почему-то концерт группы Светотень в их репетиционном гараже для друзей – тоже были только самые-самые, уютная атмосфера и слово special так же витало в воздухе. Special. You’re special. Поняла, что люблю такие мероприятия.

  Еще поняла, что начинаю любить свою работу. Потому что она включает общение с людьми. Плюс networking просто бешенный. В общем, все, что я так обожаю. Подумываю податься на MC VP. Хочется… А что, если попробовать? Можно даже не в России…

  И кстати о людях. Встречалась сегодня со своим подопечным (mentee). Одна из целей встречи – замотивировать податься на лидерскую позицию. Замотивировала. Сказал, что я как по технике НЛП легко и ненавязчиво уговорила его податься. А хотел уходить. Чертовски приятны его слова. Поняла, что не зря он мой менти – у нас есть эта связь персональная. Как и с Танечкой. Она вообще чудо мое =) Есть еще новая девочка – в пятницу встречусь, надеюсь, подружимся с ней =)

  И все таки я могу быть хорошим руководителем… Стратегию надо, стратегию правильно выбрать.

I adore this sat expression. It seems to be my next motto in life. The new one. YAHOO!!
How did I come to it? It's easy like the orange)) I take an English course of translators and we read books in origin. At the moment we are reading W. Somerset Maugham "Cakes and Ale: or the skeleton in the cupboard".
Kinda hard to read such deep-meaning authors in English. For the 1st time. We have read more than a half and all this time were analysing each chapter - just like at the lesson of literature in school. It helps a lot. That's why now we are able to read it faster and understand everything without any dictionary: personalities, characters, relationships, feelings etc. This book is full of different sat expressions which are really useful in spoken language.
So, reading one of chapters I run into this one. And felt like found the part of me. This expression is used in cards and means playing for interest not money.
Just like in your life. Enjoy the process, not profit. That's the way I'm working, that's the way I'm living.

P.S. I write here not so often, don't quarrel me, Marcel =) It's just because of lack of time and maybe sometimes lack of valuable thoughts.

My AIESEC mood

I seldom write about my @ experience and my feelings related to it.
I am being a part of this organisation for almost 1 year and every day I realize that I grow - professionally and personally.
@ way is not just theory but mainly practice. I've been in projects, I worked as a Team Leader...
In these 12 months I have disclosed my personality as a leader.
My 1st team leading eXperience wasn't quite succesful but was very useful and taught me many things. And that's the main point of it.
My current team leading eXperience has been strating few days ago but I already feel it's succes. Not mine but my team. My "HIV fighters". Yes, we make a project based on eXchange called "Young & Perspective: HIV/AIDS education" and we call ourselves HIV fighters. Because we fight for health through pupil's education.
Today I had the 3rd team meeting and in the end of it after all discussions and brainstormings one of my fighters said: "Yeah, this is really cool project". These words were all I needed. It was a giant pleasure to hear it from this person who hasn't really shown any results in @ before. I am getting sure they become self-motivated in this participation what means hard-working and high results in the future.

We will change this world guys. For sure. Just give us some time.

I have no time to describe everything. Just some of my imressions.

I passed exam on my English courses with double 5 (for grammar and oral practice). The assistant of our examinator called me a "chat box" :) That's really true. Blah-blah-blah - I speak too fast and too much haha =) But it's good as I've got it.

When I came home I found the Official City Guide St.Petersburg on my table. I love my parents. These holidays are gonna be wonderful!

I watched "Vicky Christina Barcelona" today. 3 points of 5. But some moments are really pleasant. The funniest one is when Penelope Cruz comes to her ex-husband with a gun and mad eyes, tries to shoot him and asks to sorry her because she had a bad dream this night. Spain =) But this woman is dead awesome! Luxurious. Sсarlett is a pale teenager compared to her.

I watched "Yes Man" with Jim Carrey today - fantastic movie, really! One more position in the list of my fav films. After this film you feel a big will to do everything you wanted but couldn't find a bravery inside. Such an easy idea of saying "YES" to each opportunity in your life plus inimitable Jim Carrey's performance plus crazy teen-girl Zooey Deschanel keep you watching all the 1,5 hours continuously.
Minuses: Zooey is too young for this role, charmant but too teenager.
Pluses: amazing soundtrack.
